We’re Now On Scratch!

The younger set of boys are itching to learn Scratch. In an effort to be responsible and oversee their time online I (Amber) decided to join them and make it a family affair. I created a Big Green Chair Scratch user profile and gave the boys an assignment. (Without direction they spent more time playing other user’s games than creating.) The first assignment we are working on is an animated fish tank. The boys projects are ahead of me, of course! I will be sharing my process (and teaching as I learn) both on Scratch and here on the blog. Which means I’ll will teach you after the boys teach me – teaching is the best way to learn, right?

But I just wanted to pop in with a really quick post to say, “Hey, we’re on Scratch!” If you are a Scratcher give us a follow – we would love to see your projects. If you are not on Scratch by all means check it out!
